Here is an exceptional heirloom piece. An oversized antique Baluch rug that dates to the late 19th century. The length is a remarkably scarce dimension. The design is the classic Mina Khani motif frequently celebrated in Persian textile art. The color palette consists of warm, deep reds. Due to its age, the rug has oxidized corroded browns that add depth. It is woven wool on wool, which is standard in antique Baluch rugs.
