Dimensions: 2'8" x 3'11"

A rare Baluch rug with the most unusual "tree of life" design with confronting animal heads flanking a pole from which they are suspended. Might not be the oldest of its type, yet it is a conservative dating would be circa 1900s. The wool is very soft and lustrous as one expects with collectible Baluch weavings. The camel hair field and the four-cord selvedge point to a true ethnic weaving on this piece. The exact provenance of Willow might remain a mystery.
