Dimensions: 3'8" x 6'
A classic Ganado rug circa 1940, showcasing the rich tradition of Navajo weaving. Ganado is a small community located on the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona, in the southwestern United States. Ganado became famous in the early 20th century as a center for Navajo weaving, particularly the distinctive bold geometric patterns, strong reds and earthy tones, and a fine, tight weave. Maeve has a timeless design that makes it a striking addition to any collection or interior space.
This rug has been professionally washed and the wool is super soft. The condition is overall good, except a very small hole the size of a penny.
